About the company

In 1988, Walter (Tex ) & Kay Klassen founded Tex Klassen Wholesale Ltd in Saskatoon’s Hudson Bay Industrial Park. Through the first twenty years of the company’s existence, Tex Klassen provided quality HVAC fabrication and wholesale products to contractors, business owners, and retail customers at affordable prices.

In 2009 the business was sold to Mark & Rhonda Rimmer. The new owners have continually expanded the custom fabrication division while keeping the core sheet metal business, and in 2014 a new glazing division was started. As they say, you can’t mess with a good thing. Tex Klassen’s unwavering commitment to quality in every step of the design and production process drove demand skyward, leading the company to allocate more and more of its resources to the custom side of the business.

Now Tex Klassen has become a Western Canadian leader in custom metal and glass design for the metal, elevator, and glazing industries. While the original product offering is still available, we at Tex Klassen know that our custom work adds value that customers just aren’t going to find anywhere else.

How do we do it? To begin with, we never forget that each client is unique and, as such, has unique requirements. From there, it’s a question of details. The products that bear the Tex Klassen name are a physical representation of our competency and skill as master craftsmen. That’s not something that we take lightly. We’re proud of what we do and it shows in our dedication and attention to the finest details in all aspects of the fabrication process, from conceptualization to installation.
